Celebrating of LifeThere are no rules when it comes to celebrating the life of a loved one.
Our staff can provide creative guidance and advice on your loved one’s celebration, and can assist with ideas on how to tailor the service to include special and personal touches, such as:
• Photographs of the deceased during his or her life; • Symbols of his or her life, such as art work, sporting memorabilia, and other items reflecting his or her hobbies and interests • The deceased’s favourite music.
Services can involve prayers and hymns, or civil rituals, such as the lighting of candles, the release of helium balloons, Doves of Peace or butterflies, or the playing of The Last Post.
Over the years, we have introduced a range of initiatives to allow families to celebrate the life of their loved one in special and creative ways, including:
Order of Service Booklets
Many families utilise our specialist Tributes Consultants to help them design and prepare an Order of Service booklet.
An Order of Service allows those who attend the funeral to follow the service, and is also a personalised keepsake.
For Catholic families, we are also able to prepare and design personalised Mass Booklets.
Life Review Presentations
Our specialist Tributes Consultants also helps families remember their loved ones through a Life Review Presentation.
A Life Review Presentation is a moving visual tribute, capturing the special moments of the deceased’s life, which is presented during the funeral service, and given to the family as a permanent tribute.
Tributes and Memories Stands
At select branches within our network, families and mourners are able to experience our unique Tributes and Memories Stands.
This service allows those who wish to, to record a few special thoughts and memories of the deceased, which can be shared with others who visit the stand, or incorporated into the funeral service, and later given to the family as a supportive keepsake.
Other creative products and services
We are also able to arrange a variety of other creative experiences to help celebrate a life, including:
• Live or recorded music • Catered refreshments • Release of Doves of Peace or Helium Balloons • Professional photography • Candle lighting ceremonies • A range of contemporary Memorial Books • A champagne toast as part of the service |
